How do you promote an ice cream that comes in recyclable packaging and is sold from fridges made from recycled materials? You recycle an old TV commercial from 1995 and put it to good, awesome, sustainable use in 2020.
We dug deep into TV archives and pulled two of Romania's favourite commercials from the 90s and 2000s - the NEI color TV sets parrots ad and the Dove Supreme shower gel ad. To be funny and honest about the effort (but also to waste as little as possible on postproduction), we basically pasted the frufru logo over the original logos, slapped ice cream boxes onto the packshots and replaced the VO to produce these first recycled ads.
