Breathe in the paper dust and wipe your ink-stained fingers on your shirt: that’s Glitch Library, our knowledge sharing space where art and design meet to create their own gravitational pull. What started as our personal collection quickly evolved into something more ambitious: a semi-public resource built around a very long table with chairs, a coffee machine, and shelves stacked with everything from visual culture resources to typography, illustration, and photography, with a particular passion for poster design. Glitch Library: Self-branding is love
Branding is hard. But self-branding is infinitely harder. You’re both the client and the strategist and the designer. Quite the challenge right? The library identity relates to glitch studio’s everchanging multiversal identity in subtle but mighty ways. We took inspiration from the bookmaking process of yore and based the library logo on the typesetting letter blocks used in printing. Simple, effective, not to mention that it goes perfectly with the stamp mode that got inked on every book. The identity isn’t fixed, but playful, with every poster, program, and sticker embodying the same principle: confident enough to bend the rules, disciplined enough to make those bends count. The Glitch Library design was also featured on Fonts In Use.

Print is never dead.
Design Sessions became our signature format: intimate talks where practitioners share process, not just outcomes. When Richard Niessen brought his traveling drawer of typographic experiments to Rezidența9, we crafted event communication that read like a well-curated mixtape: punchy headlines, essential details, zero pretension. The goal was always to shrink the distance between “maybe I’ll check it out” and “wouldn’t miss it.” Each session poster carries the library’s DNA while adapting to the guest’s aesthetic territory.

Communication with a Human Handshake
Whether it’s Instagram stories or printed programs, our communication maintains the same conversational tone we use in person. The inaugural newsletter exemplified this approach: events announcements up top, Dutch book recommendations in the middle, and a slightly cheeky “Why am I receiving this?” right before the footer. Every touchpoint behaves like we do face-to-face: upfront, occasionally playful, consistently useful. Because the best brand experiences feel less like marketing and more like making friends.
